Yes. The CV tool is completely free. You get 3 free uses per day. We sustain the tool through minimal advertising.
Your CV is processed temporarily during your session. The text is extracted, analysed, and then discarded. No CV files are stored on our servers. Your report is saved locally in your browser cache so you can access it if you refresh.
The tool offers four services: Review (detailed CV analysis with scores and suggestions), Improve (professionally rewritten CV), Tailor (CV optimised for a specific job), and Create (generate a CV from scratch using your details).
We accept PDF, DOC, and DOCX files. The maximum file size is 5 MB. If your file is larger, try reducing images or removing unnecessary pages. You can also paste your CV text directly into the text box.
The analysis uses AI language models to review your CV. While it provides helpful suggestions, always review the output carefully and tailor it to each job application. The tool is designed to guide you, not replace human judgement.
No personal data is shared. Anonymised, aggregated employment data may be used for social research to help understand unemployment patterns. All identifiers are removed before any research data is shared. See our privacy policy for full details.
